Old English Pig. 19th-century artwork of a sow of the Old English Pig, a breed of the domesticated pig (Sus scrofa domestica). This artwork is from the 2-volume work The Breeds of the Domestic Animals of the British Islands (1842) by the Scottish agriculturalist David Low (1786-1859). The artworks were by Scottish artist William Shiels (1783" 1857)
