EDITORS COMMENTS
This print showcases the remarkable Welwitschia mirabilis, a truly unique plant that thrives in the harshest of environments. With its woody stem and two large leaves, this evergreen wonder continuously grows along the arid ground of the Namib desert, often displaying frayed edges as a testament to its endurance. Endemic to this unforgiving landscape, W. mirabilis owes its survival partly to its extraordinary roots that plunge an astonishing 30 meters into the earth.
