They supported themselves by shoe making and the tools of their trade are depicted on the trappings of their horses and on the door of their cart. The patron saints of shoemakers and leathermakers, their feast day is October 25th. They were beheaded during the persecution of the Christians that occurred under the Emperor Diocletian
