The Battle of the Pyrenees, fought on 25th and 26th July 1813, marked a turning point in the war, as the Allied forces, led by the Duke of Wellington, successfully repelled the French army's attempt to invade Spain from the north. The 95th Rifles, a distinguished regiment of foot riflemen, played a crucial role in the battle.
