de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver 2 G-ANAR
de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver 2 G-ANAR (msn 80) at the 1958 SBAC Farnborough Air Show. The prototype Beaver 2 was built in Canada and first flew at Downsview, piloted by George Neal, on 10 March 1953, registered as CF-GQE. The Beaver 2 was almost immediately exported to the UK and was registered as G-ANAR on 24 July 1953 to de Havilland Aircraft Ltd.. After flight-testing and demonstration flights, G-ANAR was re-imported to Canada in 1971, where it was fitted with floats. Date: 1958
