Rossio Square, also known as Pedro IV Square (Praca de D. Pedro IV), is a historic public plaza located in the heart of Lisbon, Portugal. The Column, erected in 1875, honors Pedro IV, the King of Portugal from 1826 to 1834, who played a significant role in the liberal revolution that led to the establishment of a constitutional monarchy.
