The image showcases two remarkable adventurers, Sir Ranulph Fiennes and Charles Burton, who embarked on an extraordinary journey known as the Transglobe Expedition. The Transglobe Expedition began in 1979 from Greenwich in the United Kingdom when these brave souls set out towards the South Pole. After a grueling trek lasting over a year, they triumphantly reached their destination on 15th December 1980.
