Ancient English oak (Quercus rober) tree. This ancient oak tree, called the Silton oak or Wyndhams oak, is believed to be around 1000 years old. It was already famous during King George IIIs reign (1760-1801), when it was immortalised in an engraving. It is still growing, despite being completely hollow at the base of its trunk.
