The Duke, who was the elder son of King Edward VII, died tragically young at the age of 28 due to pneumonia. Born on January 8, 1864, Albert Victor was the eldest son of the Prince of Wales and Princess Alexandra of Denmark. He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge, and served in the Royal Navy before taking on his duties as Duke of Clarence and Avondale. The Duke's life was marked by scandal and intrigue.
