Augusta Victoria of Schleswig-Holstein, born on October 22, 1858, was the last German Empress and Queen of Prussia as the first wife of Wilhelm II, German Emperor. In this striking photograph taken in 1888, the young Augusta Victoria is depicted in regal attire, exuding an air of grace and poise. Born a princess of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Augustenburg in Denmark, Augusta Victoria was a member of the Oldenburg royal family.
