Her pearl earring adds a touch of elegance to her attire, complementing her delicate bonnet. Helena Augusta Victoria was born on May 25, 1846, at Buckingham Palace in London. She was the third child and second daughter of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Her upbringing was marked by strict discipline and rigorous education, reflecting the values of the Victorian era. As she grew older, Helena became known for her intelligence, kindness, and strong sense of duty. She married Prince Christian of Schleswig-Holstein in 1866, and the couple had seven children together.
