A granddaughter of Queen Victoria, Princess Patricia was born in Kent, England, and was the youngest daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Connaught. In 1919, she married Admiral Sir Alexander Robert Maule Ramsay, and became known as Lady Patricia Ramsay. The portrait, painted circa 1918, showcases Princess Patricia's beautiful features and regal bearing.
