The Pearly Kings and Queens of Hythe can be seen here proudly displaying their pearly attire, adorned with thousands of pearl buttons, as they gather for a photograph. The women, known as Pearly Queens, wear dresses and headdresses, while the men, known as Pearly Kings, wear shirts, waistcoats, and trousers.
