A party of London and Provincial journalists, including the representatives of important foreign newspapers, yesterday visited a factory which is engaged on vital munitions work Somewhere in the Midlands.The factory, which affords example how peaceful industry has been effectively adapted to the needs of war-time production,s engaged in turning out anti-aircraft shell-cases at the rate of 1, 000, 000 per year. The steel enters the building in crude ingot form, and in the course of two days is transformed into a highly polished shell-case, ready for filling.
