The Castin Leatherjacket, also known as the Blue-lined Leatherjacket or the Blue-lined Grunt, is a small, laterally compressed fish with a length of up to 20 centimeters. It is characterized by its blue-green back, silver sides, and distinctive blue lines along its lateral line. The Castin Leatherjacket is a schooling fish that inhabits the continental shelf and upper slope, preferring rocky and sandy bottoms.
