The Cashmere Gate, also known as Ajmeri Gate, is one of the historic landmarks of Delhi, India. It was built in 1370 AD and served as the main entrance to the city during the Mughal era. The gate was named after the Mughal Emperor Humayun's wife, Haji Begum, who was also known as Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds due to its intricate latticework.
