November in the illuminated calendar of 1846 showcases a vibrant and intricately detailed scene from the Book of Hours of the Duke the Anjou, created around 1380. This exquisite image, a chromolithograph in colors and gilt, features the figures of Ezekiel and St. Jude, with the quote from the Epistle to Philemon, "Receive him therefore in the Lord, the faithful brother, fellow soldier, and your fellow laborer in the Lord," written in Latin below.
