The illustration was drawn and directed by the renowned French botanical illustrator, Pierre Jean-Francois Turpin (1775-1840), and engraved by Bozza. The Larch-leaf Triggerplant, also known as the Common Triggerplant or the Tree Triggerplant, is a unique and intriguing botanical specimen.
