In this vintage photograph from The Tatler, dated 1960, Page reports on the esteemed godparents to the Queen's children, Prince Charles and Princess Anne. The image showcases a list of the noble figures who held this sacred role in the young royals' lives. Prince Charles was godfathered by Lord Louis Mountbatten, the beloved uncle and mentor to the future monarch. Mountbatten, an Earl in the British peerage, was a pivotal figure in the Royal Family, having played a significant role in the education and upbringing of the young Prince.
