Until King Fernando the Fifth Conquered It). The image features the Spanish Golden Age writer Pérez de Hita, Ginés (1544-1619), whose work is depicted on the cover. The book was printed in Barcelona in 1610, at the printing house of Sebastian Matevat and Lorenzo Dau (not the company). Commissioned by Raphael Vines, a merchant of books, this engraving is a testament to the rich literary heritage of Spain during the Golden Age. The intricate design on the cover showcases the Moorish knights of Granada, reflecting the complex history of the region.
