The year was 1912, and the organizer of this local chapter was the Honorable Evelina Haverfield, a companion of Vera Holme, a prominent Suffragette leader. The image shows a determined group of women, dressed in their iconic purple, white, and green colors, gathered around a table filled with documents and literature.
