The County Coach Factory Company, which had been established since 1835 and was formerly known as Beale's, proudly stands facing Lemon Quay. In the background, the entrance to Tabernacle Street can be faintly seen on the right side of the picture. The buildings themselves are adorned with vibrant decorations to commemorate the coronation of Edward VII in that same year. Two impeccably dressed gentlemen stand outside one of these houses while striking a pose for the photographer. Meanwhile, a distinguished Asian man sporting a stylish bowler hat enjoys a leisurely moment as he smokes a cigar nearby. However, it seems that nature has intervened in this snapshot from history.
