Bellanca Especial aeroplane. This aircraft, designated job number 114, is a high-wing monoplane. It was designed by Italian-US aircraft engineer Giuseppe Mario Bellanca (1886-1960). He developed his first designs in Italy, emigrating to the USA in 1911 and founding a flying school in New York City. Bellanca founded the Bellanca Aircraft Company in 1927.
