Mir space station cosmonauts. Soviet cosmonauts Yuri Romanenko and Aleksandr Laveykin assembling an electrical power pack on the Mir space station, in 1987. They flew the Soyuz TM-2 mission to Mir, departing Earth on 5th February 1987. Laveykin returned early on 30th July 1987, due to heart irregularities. Romanenko stayed longer, returning on 29th December 1987
