Part-time service personnel in Cleveland honored for their dedication and commitment
EDITORS COMMENTS
. In this photo print, we are transported back to the year 1991, where part-time service personnel in Cleveland were recognized for their outstanding contributions. The image captures a special awards ceremony held at the Coulby Newham TA center, where servicemen and women from various branches of the armed forces were presented with well-deserved medals and certificates. The esteemed Lord Lieutenant of Cleveland, Lord Gisborough, took center stage as he personally bestowed these prestigious honors upon the recipients. Among those acknowledged were members of the Reserve Forces, Cadet Forces, and Royal Observer Corps. Notably exceptional cadets had an additional honor bestowed upon them - being chosen as Lord-Lieutenant's cadets who would accompany him on official duties. The photograph showcases Chief Petty Officer Joanne Standingm from Redcar Sea Cadet Corps, Cadet Sergeant Andrew Grainge from Great Ayton Cleveland Army Cadet Force, and Cadet Sgt Alexander Campbell from Stockton Central and East Yorkshire Wing Air Training Corps standing proudly alongside Lord Gisborough. This remarkable snapshot not only immortalizes a momentous occasion but also serves as a testament to the unwavering dedication exhibited by these brave men and women who selflessly serve their country while balancing other commitments in their lives.
