Part- time service personnel in Cleveland received medlas and certificates at a special awards ceremony. The Lord Lieutenant of Cleveland, Lord Gisborough, presented awards to servicemen and women from the Reserve Forces, , Cadet Forces and Royal Observer Corps. Outstanding Cadets were honoured by being chosen as Lord-Lieutenants cadets, to accompany him on official duties. They were: Chief Petty Officer Joanne Standingm Sea Cadet Corps, from Redcar; Cadet Sergeant Andrew Grainge, Cleveland Army Cadet Force, from Great Ayton: cadet Sgt Alexander Campbell, Central and East Yorkshire Wing Air training Corps, from Stockton. The award recipients line up at the Coulby Newham TA centre with Lord Gisborough. 18th February 1991
