Chiswick Bridge Collection

Chiswick Bridge is a road bridge located in London, England. It crosses the River Thames and connects Chiswick on the north bank to Barnes on the south bank. The bridge was designed by civil engineer Sir Joseph Bazalgette and built between 1887 and 1889, and is a reinforced concrete arch structure with four spans of varying lengths that are supported by two piers in the river. The bridge has an overall length of 590 feet (180 m) and a width of 50 feet (15 m). Its two main spans measure 200 feet (61 m) each, while its two side spans measure 100 feet (30 m) each. An important part of London's transport infrastructure as it carries both motor vehicles and pedestrians across the Thames.
