MARPLES PATENTEE / 67 / SPRING LANE / SHEFFIELD", and on the lower front plate: " By Her Majestys Royal Letters Patent / WILLIAM MARPLES SOLE MANUFACTURER/ OF THE ULTIMATUM BRACE / SHEFFIELD".
