Aldermaston March - The 2nd annual Anti-Nuclear protest march on 27th March 1959 to the Atomic Weapons Research Establishment at Aldermaston, Berkshire organised by the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND). A steel band from one of the African contingents on the March and banners from West African groups and Tanganyika (modern Tanzania). Date: 1959
