In this elegant and timeless photograph, the bridesmaids and best man are gathered for the wedding of Princess Mary, Princess Royal, and Henry, Viscount Lascelles, later the 6th Earl of Harewood. The year was 1922, and the occasion was a grand affair that brought together some of the most notable figures of the British monarchy and aristocracy. The bridesmaids, dressed in beautiful white dresses and adorned with flowers, are pictured here in a delightful moment of camaraderie before the ceremony. Among them is the future Queen Mother, Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, who is seen lower left, her youthful beauty and grace evident.
