According to the back of the print, the pub's trading record dates back to 1930 and 1961. Unfortunately, this historic building was demolished in 1941, a loss to the community and the city's architectural heritage. The Masons Arms was once under the management of the Charrington and Company Limited, a well-known name in the London brewing industry during the 19th and 20th centuries.
