The image portrays the Rector at the time of his retirement, marking an important milestone in his dedicated service to the community. Following his departure from the parish, Canon Brown embarked on a new chapter as a lay canon at Truro Cathedral while continuing his passion for writing. Canon Brown's literary contributions were vast and significant. Among his notable works are 'A Century for Cornwall: The Diocese of Truro, 1877-1977' and 'The Story of Truro Cathedral.
