The artwork, part of a private collection, is a visual representation of three different languages - French, English, and German - depicting common words related to money-saving practices. The engraving was originally created for "Le Vocabulaire Illustre des Mots Usuels" a comprehensive dictionary published around 1873 by Armand Le Brun et al.
