The Baroque era masterpiece depicts a scene from the New Testament, where three wise men kneel before the Virgin Mary and baby Jesus to pay their respects. Maratti's attention to detail is evident in this etching, as he skillfully captures the expressions of awe and reverence on each character's face. The use of black and white adds an element of timelessness to the artwork, emphasizing its enduring beauty.
