Identified by the photographer at the time, the 1911 Census shows Joseph Henry Green, age 34 born High Lane, occupation Hatters Proofer, his wife Harriett Green, 34, and son Jack Green, 6yrs born Stockport. They lived at 15 Sydney Street, Stockport which is probably where the photograph was taken as it is just round the corner from where Ernest Battersby lived. Mr and Mrs Green had been married 13 years and had had one child in total. This dates the photo to about 1905/6. Date: circa 1906
