Einstein Tower. This tower is a solar observatory located in Albert Einstein Science Park, Potsdam, Germany. It was built from 1919 to 1921, under the direction of the physicist Erwin Finlay-Freundlich who wanted a building in which he could conduct experiments to test Einsteins theories of relativity. It began operations in 1924. Today it is used as part of the Astrophysical Institute Potsdam
