EDITORS COMMENTS

The image, reproduced from an original painting by Jacobus van Schuppen, highlights Prince Eugene's military prowess and strategic brilliance during the 18th century. Known as one of the greatest military commanders of his time, he played a crucial role in supporting John Churchill, Duke of Marlborough, in their victory at Blenheim during the War of the Spanish Succession.
