Hundreds of people packed the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry to celebrate a milestone in

Hundreds of people packed the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry to celebrate a milestone in charity fundraising achievements. The event was organised to recognise the enormous amount of effort supporters have put in to raise 1million since Snowball was launched in 1985. All the proceeds will go to kicking off the next 1million. Topping the bill at the Snowball Millionaires Night was Coventry international singing star Vince Hill. Last nights line-up also included Bob Brolly and his band Calvary, comedian Mal Rich and the Pattisons dancers. Snowball is run by the Evening Telegraph and Mercia FM to raise money to help brighten the lives of sick and disabled children in Coventry and Warwickshire.
Our photograph shows Vince Hill with Pattisons dancers (left to right) Joanne Miller, Jenny Morgan, Emma Rogers, Katie Hammond, Lisa Crompton and Michelle Davies.
