This historic photograph captures the moment of pride and innovation at the Malton, Ontario factory of Found Brothers Aviation Ltd., as the first Found FBA-2C CF-NWT-X takes to the skies for its inaugural flight on or around 9 May 1962. The sleek and modern design of the FBA-2C, with its distinctive tail fin and advanced avionics, represented the pinnacle of Canadian aviation engineering at the time. The aircraft, registered as CF-NWT-X, was the result of years of dedication and hard work by the Found Brothers team, who had been working tirelessly to bring their vision to life.
