John Lennon appears at The Natural Music Concert, Lady Mitchell Hall, Cambridge
John Lennon appears at The Natural Music Concert, Lady Mitchell Hall, Cambridge, England in March 1969.
In two other frames in this set, he is pictures with Yoko Ono.
The couple perform and record the song Cambridge 1969 as part of the concert. The recording of this performance was released on their joint album called Unfinished Music No. 2: Life With The Lions. During this time also, The Beatles had just started work on their album Abbey Road which was released in September this year. John and Yoko also married in Gibraltar on 20th March. John Lennon could well be using his Epiphone Casino in this picture that he played during 1968 and 1969, but because we only see the back of the guitar we cannot confirm this. He is positioning his guitar to create the howling sometimes screeching sound that is called feedback.
