John Lennon and Yoko Ono appear at The Natural Music Concert, Lady Mitchell Hall
John Lennon and Yoko Ono appear at The Natural Music Concert, Lady Mitchell Hall, Cambridge, England in March 1969.
The couple perform and record the song Cambridge 1969 as part of the concert. The recording of this performance was released on their joint album called Unfinished Music No. 2: Life With The Lions. During this time also, The Beatles had just started work on their album Abbey Road which was released in September this year. John and Yoko also married in Gibraltar on 20th March. John Lennon could well be using his Epiphone Casino in this picture that he played during 1968 and 1969, but because we only see the back of the guitar we cannot confirm this.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print captures the iconic duo, John Lennon and Yoko Ono, as they appear at The Natural Music Concert in Lady Mitchell Hall, Cambridge, England in March 1969. The couple's performance of the song "Cambridge 1969" during this concert was later released on their joint album titled Unfinished Music No. 2: Life With The Lions. It is worth noting that during this period, The Beatles had just begun working on their legendary album Abbey Road which would be released later that year in September. Additionally, John and Yoko tied the knot in Gibraltar on March 20th. In this particular image, we see John Lennon onstage with what appears to be his Epiphone Casino guitar from his extensive collection used throughout 1968 and 1969. However, since only the back of the guitar is visible in the photo print, we cannot confirm its exact model. Taken on March 2nd, 1969 by Mirrorpix photographer (s), this snapshot immortalizes a significant moment in music history when two extraordinary artists came together to share their talents with an enthusiastic audience at Lady Mitchell Hall.
