This chromolithograph, entitled "Syphilis: A Visual Representation of the Progression and Treatment of the Disease," is an excerpt from the first American edition of Auguste Cullerier's "Precis iconographique des maladies veneriennes," published in 1868 by Henry C. Lea in Philadelphia. The illustrations in this atlas were produced by T. Sinclaire.
