In this photo print, we are transported back to the 1938/1939 football season, where two legendary figures of Bury Football Club stand side by side. On the left, we have John "Jack". Watson, a formidable force on the field known for his skill and determination. And on the right stands J. Wyllie, another talented player who contributed greatly to Bury's success during that era. But their story doesn't end there. Fast forward to 1948 when Watson embarked on an extraordinary journey across borders as he joined Real Madrid alongside Mike Keeping as a player/coach.
