Hundred of Rover workers were treated to a free night out in Coventry to celebrate

Hundred of Rover workers were treated to a free night out in Coventry to celebrate the launch of the brand new model today. Their families went too, as bosses said a big " thankyou" to staff who have laboured long and hard on the new car. A theatre at the citys Odeon cinema was booked for two screening of a top new comedy film Look whos Talking, last night. And the guests also got to see what all the fuss is about. They watched the big-screen version of a new multi-million pound TV ad for the new Metro car. The queue of Rover workers waiting ouside the Odeon wound round a hundred yards into Whitefriars Street last night as shown in our photograph.
