Kinner C-7 engines, sold to civil pilot owners, followed in 1936 by three communications aircraft for the USN, serving until the early years of World War II. The Imperial Japanese Navy evaluated a single Envoy as the Kinner LXK - Type K Transport. Date: circa 1938
