The hunt took place on December 28th near Ellora while the princes were visiting the Nizam of Hyderabad under British Raj rule. This remarkable artwork is featured in volume seven of La Science Illustree, a popular French science weekly from 1891. It transports us back to a time when big game hunting was considered an important activity for royalty and serves as a testament to their power and influence.
