The Alphonsists, also known as the Monarchists or the Isabellines, were supporters of the Bourbon dynasty and opposed the Carlists, who claimed the throne for Carlos VII. The vivandieres, female soldiers who provided logistical support to the troops, are shown in their distinctive uniforms, adorned with the colors and insignia of their respective regiments.
