This extraordinary organ, known as Tippoo's Tiger, is a unique musical instrument constructed to the order of Tipu Sahib, the Sultan of Mysore from 1782 to 1799. The organ, which dates back to the late 18th century, is not an ordinary musical instrument but rather a representation of the mauling of an East India Company officer. Tipu Sahib, a formidable ruler known for his military prowess and resistance against British colonial rule, commissioned this organ as a symbol of his victory over the British.
