Incorrectly marked as 54-117, this Super Sabre was marked for disposal to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposition Center (MASDC) on June 14, 1971. However, its journey did not end there. In October 1972, this historic aircraft was transferred to the Turkish Air Force, where it continued its service under the same serial number.
