Two De Havilland Mosquito bomber planes from the No.140 Wing RAF of the Second Tactical Air Force attack the Gestapo headquarters housed in the University of Aarhus in Denmark during the Second World War.
The aircraft went in to the attack at zero feet, one pilot going so low that he hit part of the University and returned with an a buckled engine needle.
The bombing was accurate and the target was destroyed.
The Royal Air Force would in the aftermath of World War II point to the Aarhus raid as the most successful one of its kind during the war.
